SRI KDU International School (Kota Damansara)Malaysia International School tour No.32

Updated: 4 days ago

SRI KDU

 SRI KDU (Kota Damansara Campus)

Located in the Kota Damansara area, about 40 minutes west of central Kuala Lumpur, SRI KDU is situated in a convenient location. Right next to the school is SEGI University (→ Tabiniko also offers support for university admissions), and within walking distance, you’ll find shop lots (areas with small local shops) and Kota Damansara MRT Station, which is about a 9-minute walk away. Just one stop from the Kota Damansara MRT Station takes you to IOI Damansara Mall, a large shopping mall with retail stores, banks, and hospitals.

It is currently part of XCL Education, an educational management group that also operates REAL International School. However, it seems that REAL International School has recently stopped accepting international students. This needs to be confirmed again.

The campus itself is very spacious, with separate buildings for the primary and secondary schools, each with its own large sports field adjacent to it. There is also a private school within the same premises (following the Malaysian national curriculum) that only local students can attend. Overall, the environment is open and provides students with a relaxed and comfortable school life.

Another key feature is the high ratio of foreign teachers. Although the school was originally established in 1999, it has been renovated and now has a modern and beautifully maintained interior.

SRI KDU International School has three campuses: Kota Damansara Campus, Subang Jaya Campus, and Klang Campus. You can choose the campus depending on your preferred area.

The following is an excerpt from the school’s official website.

Vision

Sri KDU Kota Damansara — Nurturing Future Leaders Since 2003

Leaders are not born—they are made. At our school, we aim to nurture not just good leaders, but great leaders. Great leaders are those who create solutions, thrive in uncertain situations, and inspire others to follow their lead.

Sri KDU International School offers an English-medium curriculum from the Foundation Years through to Year 12. The curriculum is based on the Cambridge Curriculum and the UK National Curriculum, combined with selected Malaysian subjects to deepen students’ understanding of both their own and the host country’s culture. Our goal is to develop leaders who have the heart of Malaysia and the ability to make an impact on the global stage. We are committed to helping our students grow into individuals who can contribute positively to society, both locally and internationally.

Mission

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment where every student feels happy, experiences success, and realizes their full potential. Through high-quality education and personalized support, we aim to nurture a love of learning and empower students with the confidence and skills to shape their own futures. We also value strong partnerships with parents and actively foster connections between the school and the local community to support the healthy growth of every child.

Furthermore, we deliver high-quality, internationally recognized education, backed by global standards and networks, including being the first school in Malaysia to receive the ISQM Gold Award, as well as membership in FOBISIA, AIMS, and Cambridge Assessment.
