1st to 3rd FEB 2019 will be opened as a flower market. I think you can follow their for more future update. From 3pm.

My remark:

Rex Theatre, 柏屏戏院 in China Town, KL, a memory of KL people as a place for watching cinema about 25 years ago. (1970). This cinema was been closed on NOV 2002. Movies, Jurassic Park has been released here on 1993. That's why this place is a memory for 70s, 80s Malaysian. Even it became a Hostel before but abandoned after fire. Now, REX will be a space for events, screenings, performances, exhibitions, retail and F&B outlets. This time, their project is Flower Market for Chinese New Year 2019. I went REX on 25th JAN (FRI) 2019, about 3pm and not many shop was opened. You can find many local products and creative item. According to other article, Rex KL done by Shin Tseng (co-founder) and architect Shin Chang, advisors are renowned Malaysian architect Ng Sek San (Sekeping), creative director Joseph Foo and supported by architect Kamil Merican. From out side, think the signboard [RED GRAGON HOSTEL] will be a symbol for you, hope now will be a proper signboard for people to find out REX KL.
