We went to Romaliya last Saturday, the restaurant that's been talked about for being Saizeriya-like!!

Since we arrived at the restaurant a little after 8 p.m. on Saturday night, we were able to get in smoothly without any waiting time. However, the inside of the restaurant was almost full.

There were many young people and families with children, and the restaurant had both air-conditioned indoor seating and outdoor seating. Since it was a bit hot that day, we chose the air-conditioned seats. The interior was clean and had a nice, fresh atmosphere.

There was a period when Eric, who used to go to Saizeriya once a week when he lived in Japan, will now give a rather strict food review (≧▽≦)
Since he went there every week, he became a regular, and the staff even remembered what he usually ordered (lol).
And no, he wasn’t going there alone. — he used to go with friends after their lessons!

Starting from the bottom right and going clockwise: Grilled Escargots (RM10.80)
‐ They look familiar somehow (lol). They have a nice, chewy texture and are delicious! However, the taste is a bit sweet at the end. Since Malaysian food tends to be generally sweet, they might have made it slightly sweeter on purpose.
Beef Bolognese with Onsen Egg (RM18.80) – Simply tasty.
Pumpkin Soup (RM6.80) – Has a nice roasted flavor and is delicious.
Baguette Half Cut (RM5.20) – Just regular French bread.
Minestrone Soup (RM6.80) – The taste is a bit mild. It’s nice that it’s full of vegetables, though.
Shrimp Fried Rice Doria (RM24.80) – Comes with three fried shrimp. The shrimp were plump and delicious.
~Tips for Staying Healthy in Malaysia~
Fresh shrimp are plump and springy. Shrimp that aren’t fresh feel mushy and aren’t springy. When eating shrimp, make sure to pay attention to the texture. Maybe because it’s a hot country, Eric and his family are very sensitive about the freshness of ingredients!
Center: Nyonya Laksa Pasta (RM15.80)
-This was by far our favorite among everything we ordered — both Eric and I loved it! It’s a dish that really wins the hearts of Malaysians (#^.^#). I want to eat it again (≧▽≦). It’s a little spicy.
When it comes to Saizeriya in Japan, the spicy chicken is a must, so it was disappointing that it wasn’t available.
If a restaurant in Malaysia is targeting the local crowd, chicken is essential — and it has to be spicy!!! The Japanese version of Saizeriya’s spicy chicken isn’t spicy enough, so it would be better if it were made even spicier.

There are also localized menu items! For example, Nyonya Laksa Pasta (RM15.80) and Nasi Lemak Pizza (RM16.80). These are unique dishes that you can only try here, made by adapting Malaysian local food.

I forgot to take a photo of the dessert page at the end (;^ω^)Compared to Saizeriya, the menu was a bit smaller.

We finished eating a little after 9:30 p.m., and as we were about to leave, a staff member asked, “Would you like some ice cream?? It’s free!!”
Of course, we immediately said yes and got ice cream for free (^▽^) Lucky!!
All the other customers around us also got ice cream as a service. If you stay until close to closing time, you might get some ice cream too!

There is also a drink bar.
The total came to RM97.90, including a 10% service charge.
