They purchased a building that was originally used as an office and are now using it as a school. It’s a building with colorful windows that really stands out.
<Reception>

As expected from an art school, even the reception is impressive! It’s hard to tell from the photos, but the white section serves as the counter where the reception staff sit. The white area and the artwork section are actually digital walls, which can display various kinds of visuals.
<MOCAP SPACE>

MOCAP SPACE refers to a dedicated studio or area designed for motion capture.
MOCAP, which stands for Motion Capture, is a technology that digitally records human movements and facial expressions using sensors or cameras.
It is used in film, animation, game development, virtual YouTubers, VR, and more.
There is also a separate room with a background set (green screen) for virtual production.

<VIDEO-GRAPHY STUDIO>

This is the green screen studio, a background set used for virtual production. It was lit with strong lights, so it felt quite hot.
<Animation Floor>

They have a large number of computers as well.

They study 3D modeling, a technique for creating three-dimensional shapes on a computer, to produce illustrations for movies and games. Many impressive works were displayed along the hallway.

It looks like a samurai. It seems like a real person.

It looked like it was studying human movements. <Recording studio>

<Graphic Design>

A sleek, near-futuristic corridor that looks like it could draw you in! (≧▽≦)

<Wall Animation>

These are works in website, mobile app, touchscreen design, VR, AR, projection mapping, installation art, and digital media. <Fashion Floor>

The ESMOD Kuala Lumpur campus, part of THE ONE ACADEMY, is a prestigious French fashion school with the longest history in the world.
ESMOD Kuala Lumpur is one of the most renowned fashion schools globally.
From the official website of ESMOD Kuala Lumpur:
The One Academy, which has been nurturing talent for over 30 years in the international creative and animation industries, brought Parisian fashion design education to Malaysia to train the next generation of fashion designers. ESMOD Kuala Lumpur, located within The One Academy, was established for aspiring young fashion designers and is the only Paris-origin fashion design school in Malaysia.
ESMOD Kuala Lumpur fully adopts ESMOD Paris’s educational philosophy, curriculum, teaching methods, and materials. It offers a diploma program in fashion design and pattern making, complemented by French instructors and resources to ensure the Parisian standard of education.
Students gain the best of two worlds: international fashion design knowledge and practical pattern-making skills. This equips them with comprehensive abilities, from haute couture design to market-oriented creations, enabling them to enter the fashion industry as skilled professionals immediately after graduation.

The students’ fashion is also unique and stylish. Did they make it themselves?!

The sewing machines are industrial-grade and are placed in each classroom. I think there are around 100 in total.

I could smell the paint in the art room. Since I actually went to art school, it was such a nostalgic scent for me (#^.^#)

<Workshop Floor>

There are many full-scale industrial tools available.

They even have 3D printers.
<AUDITORIUM>

It is used for orientations, and since the AUDITORIUM is twice the size shown in this photo, it can also be divided into two rooms with partitions. <Library>

There are plenty of books. The black lines on the desks have power outlets, so students can also study using their laptops.

There are study spaces available, and computers are also provided.

Inside the library, there are also discussion rooms (private rooms).

Relaxation space. <Cafeteria>

A commemorative photo with the staff of THE ONE ACADEMY.

The Rapid KL Sunway Line (electric bus) Setia Jaya Station is located in the middle left of the photo, and you can walk to the school from the station.
The school also owns several dormitory rooms in the neighboring residence, as well as in the Sunway Pyramid area. <Restaurants under the school>

Since the school has a multinational student body, there are various restaurants downstairs—Indian, Malay, and Chinese, among others. The cafeteria gets quite crowded at lunchtime, so when it’s busy, eating at the restaurants below is likely a faster option.
