Selangor Crown Prince to Wed on 2 October
His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah, Crown Prince of Selangor (34), will marry Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz on 2 October 2025. The ceremony will be held at the Royal Mosque within Istana Alam Shah in Klang.
The royal reception and celebratory dinner are scheduled for 22 October at the palace’s Balairung Seri and Royal Banquet Hall.
In mosques across the state, Yasin recitations and prayers will be held to celebrate the marriage, with members of the royal family in attendance.
[Traffic Alert] Road Closures in South Klang for Selangor Royal Wedding (29 September & 2 October 2025)
In Selangor, an important royal ceremony is scheduled. Due to the Crown Prince’s wedding at Istana Alam Shah, certain roads in South Klang will be closed temporarily.
🚧 Road Closure Overview
Dates: Monday, 29 September 2025 & Thursday, 2 October 2025
Time: From 7:00 AM until the end of the event (exact time TBD)
Reason: To ensure smooth proceedings and safety for the Royal Wedding
Location: Istana Alam Shah and surrounding roads
❗ Roads Completely Closed (All Day)
The following roads will be fully closed on both days:
Jalan Tengku Diaudin → Jalan Istana
Jalan Istana → Bulatan Simpang Lima
Jalan Istana → Jalan Stadium Sultan Sulaiman
Jalan Istana → Lorong Tingkat
Jalan Istana → Jalan Tengku Kelana
Jalan Istana → Jalan Tengku Kelana 2
Bulatan Simpang Lima → Jalan Bukit Istana
⏳ Roads Temporarily Closed in Phases (As Needed)
The following roads may be temporarily restricted depending on the time and progress of the ceremony:
Jalan Dato Hamzah → Jalan Tengku Kelana
Jalan Raja Jumaat → Jalan Istana

South Klang Police Station urges the public to observe the following:
Plan your travel in advance on the day of the ceremony and avoid using the affected roads.
Use alternative routes whenever possible.
Follow the instructions of police officers in road closure areas and prioritize safety.
Consider using public transportation to avoid traffic congestion and confusion.
