This is my 10th visit to international schools in Malaysia! This time, I toured UCSI International School, which is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Here are the points I found very impressive about this school:
1. Despite being centrally located, the school boasts excellent facilities like a swimming pool, a covered basketball court, and a large hall.
2. The school has a diverse staff from many different countries and places a strong emphasis on technology.
UCSI International School Kuala Lumpur integrates the Cambridge International Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum at the primary level, laying the foundation for rigorous IGCSE examinations in secondary school. The multinational team of teachers, qualified and experienced in their fields.Practical learning opportunities are available in dedicated Maker spaces, science labs, and studios on campus.
Since August 2021, UIS Kuala Lumpur has been selected as Malaysia's first Finland Experience flagship school, introducing new technology-based modules such as Code School Finland, Eduten Playground, Grapho Game, and School Day. These modules aim to develop skills in coding, gamification, robotics, IT, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.
Furthermore, UIS Kuala Lumpur has established an EdTech Center as a platform for students, teachers, parents, and the community to interact, aiming to redefine youth outcomes and enhance the quality of education.
