Erican Language Centre

Established in 1990, Erican Language Centre, a leading Malaysia Language Center, has earned a solid reputation as a trusted English language school in Malaysia. For over three decades, it has provided high-quality English education to both local and international students. To date, more than 400,000 students from around the world—including the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Korea, China, Japan, and Malaysia—have studied and graduated from Erican.

● Erican Young Learners (EYL) – A Fun and Effective English Program for Children

[Main Online Class]: Weekly Online Sessions on Saturdays

Malaysia’s No.1 English educator, Grandpa Eric (Datuk Eric Chong), provides easy-to-understand instruction in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

[Tutorial Class]: In-Class or Online Options Available

Experienced teachers help strengthen speaking and listening skills. Lessons are delivered in a modular format, with regular assessments to monitor progress. All levels are aligned with the Cambridge English Qualifications (Starters, Movers, Flyers).

By combining these two classes, students deepen their understanding of key learning points and achieve more solid mastery of English in each unit.

Additionally, regular storytelling sessions help develop presentation and expressive skills. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the annual Erican Cup, which supports the development of public speaking abilities for the future.


● Erican Cambridge English (ECE) – A Practical English Program for Teens and Adults

Malaysia’s No.1 English teacher, Teacher Eric, provides thorough instruction in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

[Tutorial Class]: In-Class or Online Options Available

Experienced instructors help boost speaking and listening skills. Lessons follow a modular structure with regular assessments to track progress. The program also supports preparation for Cambridge English exams such as KET, PET, FCE, and CAE.

In addition, public speaking training is included, and students have the opportunity to participate in the annual Erican Cup speech competition.


● Erican English Grammar (EEG) – Self-Paced Online Grammar Program

[Online English Grammar Class]

This online program, led by Malaysia’s No.1 English educator, Datuk Eric Chong, focuses exclusively on English grammar. It offers two levels, suitable for beginners to intermediate learners.

Each unit consists of an Instruction Section, where grammar points are clearly explained, and a Practice Section, where learners reinforce their understanding through exercises. After each practice session, an automated test provides instant results and explanations.

The self-paced format makes this course ideal for busy learners or those wishing to review grammar at their own convenience.

Perfect for anyone looking to build a solid foundation in English grammar or revisit the basics with a fresh approach.


● Erican English Conversation (EEC) – A Short-Term Program to Build Practical Speaking Skills

This program is designed for adults who want to improve their English conversation skills efficiently. It caters to a wide range of levels, from beginner to advanced, and covers practical, theme-based English for both everyday and business situations.

Experienced instructors guide learners through role-plays and discussions to enhance pronunciation and listening skills. The relaxed and supportive learning environment helps students naturally acquire practical English.

● Erican Business English (EBE) – Mastering English for International Business

This program is designed for adults to develop well-rounded English skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—that are essential in today’s global business environment. It accommodates all levels from beginner to advanced and is tailored for various industries and goals, including career advancement, customer service, and international business.

The curriculum includes business conversation, practical role-plays, and writing skills for professional documents such as emails, letters, reports, and proposals.

● Erican International English (EIE) – 8-Week Program to Strengthen English in a Multinational Setting

The teaching team includes instructors from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Malaysia.

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM

[Levels] 6 levels (Beginner to Advanced)

● IELTS Preparation Course

This program is ideal for those aiming to work or study abroad and seeking to obtain an internationally recognized qualification in academic English.

It is designed to efficiently develop the language skills required to succeed in the IELTS exam.

Classes are held 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), with approximately 20 sessions per month.

There is a whiteboard at the front, and an English lecture is being conducted. The classroom is designed for focused learning, with long desks for writing and studying attentively.
