Road Closures near KLCC (20 September 2025)
On 20 September 2025, roads near KLCC and Bukit Bintang will be temporarily closed due to the Sarong Music Run event in Malaysia.
The routes and time schedules for the road closures are as follows. Details such as alternative routes and whether roads will be fully closed or partially used by runners are also provided.
When going out, please plan your route in advance and pay attention to traffic regulations and detours.
ROAD CLOSURE ON 20 SEPT 2025

4:50 PM – 8:00 PM | Jalan Ampang (KLCC traffic lights – Jalan Yap Kwan Seng) | Full closure. Vehicles will be diverted to Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. |
4:50 PM – 6:30 PM | Jalan P. Ramlee & Jalan Pinang & Jalan Kia Peng | 1 lane for runners. |
5:00 PM – 6:45 PM | Jalan Stonor – Jalan Conlay | 1 way closure. |
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Jalan Raja Chulan – Jalan Bukit Bintang | 2 lanes for runners. 1 left lane for vehicles. |
5:40 PM – 7:30 PM | Jalan Sultan Ismail | Full closure from Bukit Nanas Monorail to Raja Chulan Monorail. |
5:10 PM – 7:30 PM | Jalan Ampang | Full closure from the direction of BSN until the Bukit Nanas traffic lights. |
