Japan’s well-known drugstore “Matsumotokiyoshi (Matsukiyo)” is finally expanding to Malaysia! The first store is scheduled to open at Toppen Shopping Centre in Johor Bahru. Located on the first floor near “Dees Fashion,” the store is expected to open around December 2025, according to sources.

Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Bintang aims to become an international shopping district like Japan’s Ginza and Singapore’s Orchard Road, as Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming announced the “I Lite U” project.

Monash University has announced plans to build a new campus in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The University’s Malaysia campus will partner with TRX City to invest a total of RM2.8 billion (approximately AUD 1 billion) in developing the new campus.

The main affected areas include: Petaling Jaya, Section 16 Keranajaya Damansara Heights Mont Kiara Parts of Kuala Lumpur Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has dispatched technical teams to the affected sites to restore power. TNB’s Facebook page also announced the outage information for areas around Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.
