This time, we visited Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur (KL), located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur (KL) is one of the international schools located close to the city center, making it an attractive choice for families who wish to live in the city. Taylor’s offers programs designed to nurture future global leaders and is a popular international school among locals. Although the school currently does not have a swimming pool, it is equipped with facilities such as a field, a gymnasium, and a hall. Operated by Taylor’s Education Group, a leading Malaysian education group, the school maintains the quality and standards associated with the Taylor’s name, while offering international education at tuition fees that are affordable for local families. Among the Taylor’s group institutions, it is exceptionally cost-effective, with Malaysian teachers making up the majority of the faculty.
The school is currently undergoing expansion, with plans to build multiple new sports facilities. These include a swimming pool, a football field, basketball courts, and additional facilities such as a drama studio, a cafeteria, and parking areas.
Construction began at the end of 2025, with the first phase scheduled for completion by the end of 2026 and the second phase by the end of 2027.

Here’s the English translation of the excerpt from the school’s website:
The history of Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur dates back to 1991. It was originally established in Kuala Lumpur as a school for the players of the Malaysian Badminton Association. Since then, it has grown into one of Malaysia’s top private schools, undergoing major transformations such as the introduction of an international curriculum and its renaming to Taylor’s International School. A second campus was later opened in Puchong, and with two campuses, the school continues to uphold Taylor’s strong educational tradition while aiming to be a truly community-rooted international school.
Taylor’s International School’s educational approach is a dynamic and well-balanced framework that emphasizes academic excellence, essential skills, and character development. The school places great importance on equipping teachers to deliver effective lessons, nurturing the growth of young minds, and ensuring students’ learning is continually enhanced through a high-quality curriculum.
In addition to academic rigor, students gain the best of Eastern and Western values, along with a solid foundation in English, Malay, and Chinese. As part of their school life, students also have the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities such as sports, performing arts, and CSR initiatives. Through this balanced learning experience, students develop the ability to thrive in an ever-changing world.

<School field>

As a school located in the city center, the field is relatively spacious.
< Gymnasium >

The gymnasium also has a high ceiling and a spacious area, allowing students to move freely and actively.
<Multipurpose Hall>

It is located in a separate area, with an outdoor screen and a stylish exterior.

The three photos above were taken on different days but show the same location. I visited the school several times, and I noticed that the bulletin boards are updated regularly. I imagine that changing the displays on the boards requires quite a bit of effort, but I believe it is important to adapt the environment according to the students’ learning.
Since I wasn’t able to take photos inside the classrooms, I took many pictures of the bulletin boards in the hallways.
< Mathematics>

Explanations of multiplication, addition, subtraction, division, and the equal sign.

<Science>

This is a board showing what each grade is currently learning in mathematics.
<Team Introduction>

The hallway walls were completely covered with displays (#^.^#). Without them, the corridors might feel a bit plain, but with colorful bulletin boards, the school atmosphere becomes brighter and more welcoming. They also show what kind of learning is taking place, which I think makes for a very positive environment.

Instructions on how to wear and handle masks are also clearly illustrated with easy-to-understand pictures.

Outstanding students are prominently displayed on the school’s bulletin boards.

<Primary School Library>

There is a reasonable collection of books available.
<Secondary School Library>

The library is equipped with many desks and chairs so that students can study there.
<Hallway>

<Cafeteria>

It was just before lunchtime, so the food was already laid out. There were vegetables, meat, and a variety of side dishes. They all looked delicious!

There are also items like bread and snacks available for a light bite when you feel a little hungry.

<Entrance>

The entrance has a high ceiling, creating a bright and open atmosphere.

Since Taylor’s KL campus is located in the city center, it is also close to TRX.
